The St Crispin Street Fair was an annual fun fair held in town centre streets of Northampton, England organised by the Northampton Borough Council.
It took place from 1993 until 2004. Over 100 amusement rides operated from 10:30am to 10:30pm on the Monday and Tuesday of the October half-term school holiday.
Attractions were located in Abington Street, Drapery, Gold Street, Mercer's Row and Wood Hill as well as the market square (which dates from 1235 and is claimed to be the largest in Britain).
The fair was cancelled by the council after complaints from local traders and shoppers about congestion, noise and diesel smoke pollution from the rides.
